Hi everyone.

    Well, my first match is done and over with. I would like to thank everyone for coming. Without all of your participation, these matches wouldn't happen. A few details and hiccups aside, things went O.K. Things will only get better from here!

    A special thanks to Denny, Vonnie, Dave and Joe for helping with setup on Saturday and John & John for sticking around for teardown. Kudos!

    The second match scheduled for January 22nd is ON. I am going to give it a try this month and see how things go. Also, there will be squad sign-up info posted on the website SOON. Here is how it will work:

    1. Send me an e-mail with your name and how many guns you would like to shoot. If you are coming as a group, or are going to be joining a group, please try to get all of the shooters in your group in one e-mail. I will be having a maximum number of 8 shooters per squad. If you are going to be shooting more than one gun, please understand that you will have to be put in an additional squad for each gun ( I will try to make sure you are in the next squad for the next gun). Some exceptions may apply.

    2.  I will squad you in the best way that I can. The first 4 squads will probably be full immediately. If you are a single shooter, I will fill you in the first available slot. The squads will go out at approximately 8:00, 9:30, 10:45, 12:00, 1:15, 2:30, 3:45 and 5:00. Things usually run a little late, so you can adjust accordingly.

    3. I will accept e-mails for squad assignments up to the Tuesday before each match. That will give me time to get lists and and e-mail/post on the website(if possible) so you all get responses in a timely manner before you show up.  

 

I am hoping this will help to keep shooters from waiting around. Thanks to everyone from New York/squad #4 for your patience. Your understanding was really appreciated.

 

I spoke to a few of you Sunday on this, would anyone be interested in a 3-gun side match in the warmer months? I have the idea rolling around and would like to see how the response would be. If enough people are interested, I would be willing to set one up. Let me know.

 

If you would like to help with setup, I will be starting at 1 pm on the Saturday before each match. We will run shooters that would like to shoot upon completion with the last shooter starting by 4:30.
