This a little message from you score keeper there were a couple of incidents that happened this weekend at the match first there was a shooter who didn't Have a time recorder for the stage that was shot and other shooters had procedurals marked with no explanation of what happened ei: failure to reload foot fault extra shoots extra hits

Below is part of an email that was wrote to me regarding a shooter that had a procedural miss extra hits all recorder on his score sheet. I had no initials or signature to know who was the score keeper so that I could maybe straighten the mess out

As long as I have your attention, it might be a good time to put in the news letter, about what happened to some one, also, the score keeper should initial the score sheet, in case a later reference had to be made, if there were a procedural, there should be a brief note about what it was for, and that it is the shooters responsibility to check his scores, and the score keeper should make an attempt to show the shooter his score sheet!

I also noticed, that there are shooters, that come out close to 2:00 and saying, I have to be some place at 3:00, 2 or 3 times now, that gets a little old, I have done it once myself once and had some one shoot me through , because I had a wedding to go to, and have done it for other people, (I think even you), but the same guy 2 or 3 times gets old too!

There also a couple guys, that come late, shoot and leave early, what happened to you stay with your squad and help patch, score and pick up brass?

I thought the email said, "come at 1:00 , help set up and shoot a gun or two", what is happening, there are shooters, coming just long enough after 2 when the match is set up, so they don't have to help, shooting a gun or two, then splitting and not even finishing helping RO!

Sunday for the last gun I asked what order I shot in, and was told, I ended up being moved back behind these two guys, and heard them say good bye and walk out the door when they were done!

And as long as I'm pointing things out, one of those guys,  several times now has left the range without telling anyone about it, you're supposed to tell the RO or score keeper you are leaving the range, it makes it safer to count heads before starting to shoot again, I have already told the guy once, some one else can tell him or maybe put it in the news letter!
